EDUCATION | Comparative Literature at the University of California, Berkeley (cum laude). Emphasis: botanical literature and the global exchange of agricultural staples. Languages studied: English, Spanish, Chinese, Latin. 

BIO | Alex is a martial artist, who has trained Korean and Chinese martial arts for nearly two decades. He has a particular interest for the energetic theory that underlies martial arts.
He began his training with Master Barbara Brand (8th dan). He then trained at the UC Martial Arts Program under Master Russel Ahn (9th dan), and served as an assistant instructor and competitive team captain. Most recently, he has trained in Madrid, Spain under Master Emilio Azofra (9th dan).
In 2025, he created Fivestar. The project aims to teach passionate and determined individuals about translating their wealth into wellness.
