Key vocabulary, such as numbers, days of the week, colors, clothing, classroom commands
Present simple and present continuous
The difference between countable and uncountable nouns
Pronunciation rules and blending
B level - Morphology and Advanced Syntax
The various present, past, and future tenses in English
Conditionals and modal verbs for probability
The use of passive tense to indicate active and passive grammatical function
Linkers and connectors for logical coherence and natural flow
C level - Articulation and Semantics:
Nominalization of verbs and relevant morphological considerations (prefixes, suffixes, etc)
Dramatic expansion and specification of vocabulary, including idiomatic expression
Variation and softening of language for specific purposes and scenarios
Approaching poetic language and political/ persuasive techniques; stress
